Finnish alt-country rockers Jerry and the Outlaws released their second
album “Jerry and the Outlaws No.2” in December 2007. The band was formed
in 2004 by singer/songwriter Jerry Lindqvist and the debut album
“Happy Hour Saloon” arrived on the scene in 2006. The band is steadily
building a following and performing well-received live concerts. In the
spring of 2007 Jerry and the Outlaws surprisingly teamed up with Finland’s
top Stand-Up Comedian André Wickström and wrote a song entitled
“A Real Good Country Time” which was released as a single and gained a
lot of airplay on Finnish Radio. In the summer Jerry and André Wickström
appeared on the Finnish TV show “Fångad av en sång” performing the single
for an enthusiastic crowd. Jerry and the Outlaws are determined to keep on
doing things differently and to be around for a long time to come.
Influences include artists such as Neil Young, Townes Van Zandt,
Johnny Cash and Ryan Adams to name a few.
